Recently, powdered coal is adopted as fuel for power station and cement industry. On the basis drawbacks of its use is the large quantity of produced fly ashes. It is becoming necessary to use them as beneficial material. In engineering practice, as road embankment material, clay posses disadvantage properties, include high plasticity and low shear strength. These properties can be increased by stabilization method using additive material such as fly ash. In view of this application, aim of the research is to explore the effect of fly ash on geotechnical engineering properties of clay. Fly ash used was from Paiton Power Statio
