ABSTRAK Soil-transmitted helminthic infection in Indonesia is still a major public-health problem. Particularly in children, heavy infections with soil-transmitted hehninths may inhibit their growth. The intensity of soil-transmitted helminthic infection seems to be related to defecation habits, environmental sanitation and personal hygiene. The objective of this study was to know the relationShip between soil-transmitted helminthic infection and age, level of education and occupation.
