Potensi Pemasaran Ekspor Dan Domestik Kopi Organik = Market Potential of Export and Domestic for Organic Coffee

Abstract There was inclination for the consumer's of new culture that requires healthy product and safety in the environment. That gave the chance for developing of organic coffee, which was resulted from cultivation process until working that was exempted from chemistry materials. The purpose of this research was to identify the relation of production variable, demand, export, and the price effecting the development of coffee commodity in the world market and domestic, to identify the comparative advantage of Indonesian coffee, and the level of market export and domestic potential of the Indonesian organic coffee. The research used the primer and secondary material. The primer material was taken from the subjects market of coffee, such as processors and exporters. The secondary material was taken from the instances, such as Departemen Perindustrian dan Perdagangan, Dinas Perkebunan, Badan Pusat Statistik, Asosiasi Eksportir Kopi Indonesia, and publication of international corporations like ICO, FAO, and IFOAM was taken from internet. The method of research was description analysis in graphic or statistic. The commodity of Indonesian coffee had comparative advantage according to the result of analysis RCA and AR, which was more then one, but there was a substitution of export relative function from green coffee to extracted coffee and roasted coffee. The result of research shown that condition of organic coffee happened excess demand. It shown that the condition of organic coffee was high. The development of organic coffee inclines to the Arabic coffee, so in the analysis it used the ways of Arabic coffee. From the result of wide area variable analysis, price of Arabic coffee in the international market, the world consumption coffee, and trend influenced the production of the Indonesian Arabic processed coffee. The trend values influenced negative. That was caused by the decreasing of the wide coffee area in the crisis era, many coffee garden were too old, and the minimum of the result coffee area. Meanwhile as the variable of Arabic coffee value in the world market influenced the Arabic coffee value in the domestic market.
