Abstrak Hypoglycaemic effect on soybean protein extract and phytic acid diet in diabetic rats had been studied. This research was divided into two steps. The first step was conducted to prepare dry soybean protein extract and the second step was bioassay study to investigate the hypoglycaemic effect of soybean protein extract and phytic acid diet. Thirthy mature male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were used in bioassay study. They were divided into 2 groups of 15 rats. The first group was injected alloxan (80 mg/kg body weight) to induce diabetic and the other group was used as control.
