DESIGN: Prospective cohort study (Canadian Task Force classification II-2). SETTING: University hospital. PATIENTS: Nine patients undergoing anterior colporrhaphy. INTERVENTIONS: We applied APG to the surgical site during anterior colporrhaphy in 9 patients. We collected biopsy specimens from the anterior vaginal wall at surgery and 3 months postoperatively.
