V článku byla studována depozice korundových (Al2O3) povlaků z kaplných suspenzí práškového materiálu pomocí hybridního vodou stabilizovaného plazmového hořáku. Proces zahrnoval optimalizaci nástřikovýcvh parametrů pro komerčně dostupné suspense, otimalizaci nástřikových parametrů a depozici navržených suspenzí a roztoků a hodnocení mechanických vlastností vzniklých povlaků. Struktura povlaků se lišila od typické kolumnární morfologie až k povlaku s vysokou hustotou a malou porovitostí v závislosti na použitém typu suspense.
