This contribution will provide informa- tion about the possibilities and limitations of the use of discursive analysis of textual data with the help of the statistical program Hamlet 2.0. It con- sists of two mutually interconnected parts. In the first part of the contribution, the theory of the method of discursive analysis will be discussed. The second part will be focused on the application of the statistical program Hamlet 2.0 in practice. This will be shown using the example of a partial discursive analysis of state administration and self- government relating to Islam in the Czech Repub- lic, which was part of the project „Islam in CZ: The establishment of Muslims in Czech public spaces“.
