ABSTRACT: Mobile learning can be accessed and applied anywhere and anytime. However, this learning has an obstacle to control learning confortness. The effectiveness of learning can be supported by creating a learning confortness. The various learning comfortness of learners can be disturbed if the learning activities are not suit well with personal needs. So an adaptive mobile learning can overcome these obstacle. The aims of this research is to create and validate a formulations of adaptive mobile learning through developing a prototype application that able to adjust screen brightness based on surrounding light conditions of learners using ambient light sensors.
