Effects of varying types of short duration workouts in high-intensity functional training (HIFT) on inflammatory biomarkers have not been adequately characterized. Objectives: The purpose of this descriptive study was to examine the acute effects of HIFT workouts on biomarkers of inflammation, over time, in two HIFT bouts.
