We study the behaviour and compare two nanostructurated materials based on multifunc- tional monomers: a nanoparticle-thiol-ene-polymer composite (NPC) and a holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystals (HPDLC) with dipentaerythritol penta/hexa-acrylate (DPHPA) as main monomer. We evaluate their suitability to record complex large grating spacing diffractive optical elements (DOEs), such as blazed gratings.
