EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning of think talk write in terms of students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all students of grade seventh in Junior High School 8 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016 that were distributed into 13 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIA and VIIB class which were determined by purposive sampling technique. This research used post-test only control group design. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning of think talk write wasnt effective in terms of students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdistribusi dalam 13 kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain post-test only control group design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, komunikasi matematis, think talk writ
