This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share (TPS) type towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding in eight grade students of Junior High School state 4 Way Tuba in academic year 2012/2013. The population was all eight grade students of Junior High School state 4 Way Tuba in academic year 2012/2013. The samples were students of VIIIA class as experiment class and VIIIB class as control class. The samples were chosen by purposive sampling technique.
