This was a quasi-experimental research that aimed to know about the influence of cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type towards student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research used a posttest only control design. The population was the eight grade students in second semester of Junior High School state 7 of Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2012/2013 as many as 327 students who distributed into nine classes. Samples were students of VIII H and VIII E class that chosen by purposive sampling technique. The data was value of conceptual understanding of mathematics obtained by test.
