This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of cooperative learning model of CORE towards students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of SMP N 9 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015-2016 as much as 261 students that were distributed into seven classes. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The samples of this research were students of VII-A and VII-B class that were chosen by purposive random sampling.
