Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Discovery Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif dan Belief Siswa

This research aimed to know the effectiveness of discovery learning model in terms of students’ reflective thinking skill and belief. The population of this research was students of grade VII in SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2017/2018 that were distributed into 11 classes. Samples of the research were students of VII/A and VII/C class that were determined by purposive random sampling technique. The design which used was pretest-posttest control group design. The data of this research were obtained by reflective thinking skill test and belief scale. Analysis data of the research used t-test. Based on the result of the research and the data analysis, it was concluded that discovery learning model was effective in terms of students’ reflective thinking skill and belief. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran discovery ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan belief siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 22 BandarlampungTahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam 11 kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa pada kelas VII/A dan VII/C yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan skala belief. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan belief siswa.
