HUBUNGAN ANTARA KETERAMPILAN MENJELASKAN DAN BERTANYA GURU DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA

The research problems were the teacher's ability to explain and to ask was still lack, also the educational achievement of students was still low in Class V SD Negeri 3 Gedong Air Bandar Lampung in academic year 2014/2015. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between the ability of teachers to explain and to ask with the learning achievement of IPS. This study used a descriptive correlational method. The sampling technique was using saturated sampling technique. The samples were taken from all members of the population which were students of class V SD Negeri 3 Building Water totaling 33 students. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between the ability of teachers to explain the skills and asked together with the achievement of social studies with a correlation coefficient R of 0.749.Masalah penelitian ini adalah, keterampilan menjelaskan dan bertanya guru yang masih kurang baik, serta prestasi belajar yang rendah pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Gedong Air Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara kemampuan guru dalam keterampilan menjelaskan dan bertanya dengan prestasi belajar IPS.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional. Penelitian ini mengunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Sampel diambil dari seluruh anggota populasi yaitu siswa kelas V SD yang berjumlah 33 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kemampuan guru dalam keterampilan menjelaskan dan bertanya secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi belajar IPS dengan koefisien korelasi R sebesar 0,749.Kata kunci:keterampilan menjelaskan,keterampilan bertanya, prestasibelajar IPS
