The purpose of this work is to analyse the use of the Boundary Element Method (BEM) for solving the problem defined by the forced vibration of a pair of slender circular cylinders immersed in aninfinite fluid domain. The formulation of the problem is done through the assumption of simplifying hipoteses, which reduce its solution to a complex potential determination. In arder to perform the above mentioned analysis, an analytic solution for the problem was developed and compared with the values obtained through the BEM numerical solution.
