In the former, the plate has uniform thickness and its material has different elastic properties in the radial and circunferential directions; in the latter, the isotropic plate is stiffenned with uniformily spaced radial and circunferential ribs. For each case, the equilibrium differential equations are derived in terms of the middle surface displacements, and their general solutions are found by series. Closed form solutions for several combinations of usual load and boundary conditions are given in detail. Some approximations to the theory of stiffened plates are presented, and their results are compared to the solutions of the theoretical developement. No primeiro caso a placa possui espessura uniforme e seu material apresenta diferentes...
