This work deals with the analysis of axissymmetrical shells by means of the available analytical solutions of spherical, conical and cylindrical elements. A similar approach to the finite element method is used, the difference being on the choice of the displacement functions that are the solutions of the differential equations corresponding to each element. A circular plate element and a stiffness ring element are still presented. A computer program making use of the displacement method is presented, to permit the analysis of structures composed of these elements and a more general class of axissymmetric shells problems for which an approximated discretization of the shell geometry is performed.O presente trabalho visa a análise de cascas ...
