The scope of this dissertation is the analysis of the dynamical behavior of sandwich plates. We have considered only simply supported rectangular plates under a compressive uniform load acting in the middle plane. The dynamical instability was also analyzed. The equations of motion were obtained through a variational approach. The changes in the natural frequencies and stability loads were analyzed according to the variations of the shear stiffness of the plate. The results were plotted and are included in this dissertation. lt was also plotted a curve connecting the vibration modes with the critical loads. Through this curve it was possible to find out the smallest value for the critical load.Aborda a determinação e a análise das equações ...
