The prevalence of risk factors in adults who have subjective coronary heart disease symptoms in Gunung KidulPurposeThis study aimed to identify the risk factors of smoking, passive smoking, physical activity, and consumption of fruits and vegetables in adults who have subjective coronary heart disease symptoms.MethodsThis study used secondary data involving 586 participants. Data were obtained from the survey of clean and healthy behaviors conducted by the provincial health office in 2015. Samples were adults aged 18-60 and aged < 18 who have been married and settled in Gunungkidul. Analysis of the relationship between variables used chi-square and Poisson regression tests.ResultsThe prevalence of smoking was lower in those who experience coronary heart disease subjective symptoms than those who do not have this symptom. Multivariate analysis showed a significant association between passive smoking, fruit and vegetable consumption, level of education and coronary heart disease subjective symptoms.ConclusionThis study recommends making a regulation of non-smoking areas and its application in the society. It is also necessary to do socialization and counseling about the dangers, symptoms, and prevention of coronary heart disease.Background: the proportion of coronary heart disease in gunungkidul district is 1,3% (riskesdas, 2013). sp2tp data from gunungkidul health office shows that there were 112 cases of patients with diagnosis and symptoms of coronary heart disease. the proportion of smoking and smoking when together with other family members are still high, physical activity is still high, but low consumption of fruits and vegetables. this study is aimed to identify the risk factors of smoking, passive smoking, physical activity, and consumption of fruit and vegetables in adults who have subjective symptoms toward coronary heart disease (chd) in gunungkidul district.Method: This study used secondary data, i.e. data obtained from the survey of clean and healthy behaviors carried out by the yogyakarta provincial health office in 2015. samples were adults aged 18-60 and aged < 18 but have been married and settled in gunungkidul in 2015. the study design used is quantitative research with cross sectional study. analysis of the relationship between variables uses chi-square and poisson regression.Results: There were 86 people suffered subjective symptoms toward chd. bivariate analysis shows that there was a significant relationship between passive smoking by subjective symptoms toward chd(rp = 1, 54; 95% ci = 1, 02-2, 33), consumption of fruits and vegetables with the subjective symptoms toward chd(rp = 0, 64; 95% ci = 0, 43-0, 95). confounding variables associated with subjective symptoms towards chd is the level of education (rp = 1, 57; 95% ci = 1, 05-2, 35), while smoking and physical activity as well as age and gender are not related. multivariate analysis still shows a significant association between passive smoking, fruit and vegetable consumption, level of education and subjective symptoms toward chd.Conclusion: Passive smoking and the consumption of fruits and vegetables associated with subjective symptoms toward chd, with and without involving levels of education variable. it is suggested to conduct follow-up surveys to chd, symptoms, and risk factors. it is needed to make a regulation of ktr and its application in the society, and it is needed also to do socialization and counseling about the dangers, symptoms, and prevention of ch
