Motivation of entrepreneurs to continues in their activities with regard to the covid-19 pandemic

The bachelor's thesis deals with the motivation of entrepreneurs to continue their activities with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the thesis is to identify the motivational and demotivating factors of entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic in the field of tourism during the Covid-19 pandemic and to discuss them in terms of targeting government measures and their benefits. The research was conceived as qualitative. It has consisted of 12 communication partners from the ranks of representatives of travel agencies and guides in tourism, with whom semi-structured interviews were conducted. The research showed that the measures of the Government of the Czech Republic connected with the Covid-19 pandemic evaluate communication partners as rather demotivating as it did not help them or only minimally helped to manage the closure and restriction of their services. Nevertheless, they desire to continue doing business in tourism, due to their internal motivation, positive relationship with travel, tourism, and customer satisfaction. The significant reduction in tourism was largely seen by communication partners as a challenge and an opportunity for innovation.Bakalářská práce se zabývá motivace podnikatelů pokračovat ve své činnosti s ohledem na pandemii COVID-19. Cílem práce je identifikovat o motivační a demotivační faktory podnikatelů v ČR v oblasti cestovního ruchu v průběhu pandemie Covid-19 a diskutovat je z pohledu zacílení vládních opatření a jejich přínosů. Výzkum byl koncipován jako kvalitativní. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 12 komunikačních partnerů z řad zástupců cestovních kanceláří a průvodců v cestovním ruchu, s nimiž byly vedeny polostrukturované rozhovory. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že opatření Vlády ČR spojená s pandemií Covid-19 hodnotí komunikační partneři jako spíše demotivační, nepomohla jim nebo jen minimálně pomohla zvládnout uzavření a omezení jejich služeb. Přesto chtějí v podnikání v cestovním ruchu pokračovat, a to z důvodu své vnitřní motivace, kladnému vztahu k cestování, cestovnímu ruchu, spokojenosti svých zákazníků.
