A system of corporate plans and budgets and its effect on quality of the comapy's management

This thesis compares the system of plans and budgets of a specific company with the current academic knowledge. The purpose of this thesis is to define the goals of the system of plans and budgets, the timeframe of this system, the methodology of creation of plans and budgets, the way of transformation of goals from the top level to the lower levels of business hierarchy and to define the control systems of plans and budgets.This thesis is divided based on these goals into five sections. Each section begins with the summary of current academic knowledge, which is then compared with the reality of a selected company. The main learning points are in the summary summarised as well as the recommendations for the analysed company, businesses with a similar business model and academics are stated.Tato diplomová práce srovnává systému plánů a rozpočtů konkrétní společnosti s dosavadními poznatky akademické obce. Cílem práce je vymezit cíle systému plánů a rozpočtů, stanovit časové dimenze systému plánů a rozpočtů, stanovit metodiku zpracování plánů a rozpočtů, vymezit způsob transformace cílů na hierarchicky nižší úrovně podniku a vymezit přístupy ke kontrole dosažených cílů.Podle těchto cílů je rozdělena i tato diplomová práce. V jednotlivých částech jsou nejdřív shrnuty dosavadní poznatky akademické obce, které jsou následně srovnány s realitou konkrétní mezinárodní společnosti. V závěru jsou shrnuty hlavní poznatky této diplomové práce a sepsány doporučení pro hodnocený podnik, podniky s podobným podnikatelským modelem i akademickou obec
