Contemporary trends of European and Czech insurance market

This master thesis on the topic of contemporary trends of European and Czech insurance market introduces trends and new legislative acts that influence the insurance market and its participants. In the first part of the thesis I describe the European legislative acts in order to show their impact on the Czech legislation and their effects on the insurance distribution, services and isurance products. The second part is focused on the trends resulting from the market development such as incorporation of innovative technology into financial services/insurance or new insurance providers according to peer to peer/sharing economy principles. I also provide comments for each trend in order to present its impacts and its future in the insurance market.Tato diplomová práce o současných trendech v evropském a českém pojišťovnictví představuje nové legislativní předpisy, které mají dopad na pojistný trh a jeho účastníky.
