Financial analysis of the municipality Cheb

The final thesis deals with specifics of public sector with relation to a financial analysis. The aim of this thesis is to select suitable indicators of financial analysis and subsequently to assess financial health of selected municipality. The analysed subject is the municipality Cheb and the financial analysis will be carried out on its budgetary and accounting data for period 2015–2018. The results of the financial analysis of the municipality Cheb are also compared with municipalities Sokolov and Karlovy Vary.Tato diplomová práce se zabývá specifiky veřejného sektoru s vazbou na finanční analýzu. Cílem této práce je v prvé řadě vybrat vhodné ukazatele finanční analýzy a následně s jejich pomocí posoudit a komplexně zhodnotit finanční zdraví vybrané municipality. Analyzovaným subjektem je město Cheb a finanční analýza bude provedena na jeho rozpočtových a účetních datech za roky 2015–2018. Výsledky finanční analýzy města Cheb jsou také porovnány s městy Sokolov a Karlovy Vary
