The Integration of CSR into Business Strategy

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on current issues and challenges faced in the implementation of CSR and its conception. In the theoretical part the concept of CSR is defined, subsequently assumptions, its dimensions and alternative concepts of social responsibility are elaborated in more detail. The purpose of the practical part, as stated from the beginning, is an analysis of the effective method of integrating CSR into the long-term strategy of the company and its importance as a key prerequisite for future prosperity of the company. The practical part will also build on structured interviews with representatives of selected companies operating on the Czech market, more precisely how they implement CSR and how they are affected by their parent companies.Bakalářská práce se zabývá aktuální problematikou zavádění společenské odpovědnosti firem a jejím současným pojetím. V teoretické části je vymezen koncept CSR, zohledněny předpoklady, jeho dimenze a detailněji rozpracovány alternativní koncepty společenské odpovědnosti. V praktické části a zároveň cílem, který byl vymezen od začátku, je analýza efektivní metody integrace CSR do dlouhodobé strategie podniku a uvedení její důležitosti, jež je klíčovým předpokladem pro budoucí prosperitu firmy. Praktická část se bude dále stavět na strukturovaných rozhovorech se zástupci vybraných firem působící na českém trhu, jakým způsobem CSR implementují a jak je ovlivňují jejich mateřské společnosti
