Home insurance analysis on the Czech insurance market

This thesis focuses on the problematics of home insurance. The main goal of this work is to analyze specific products currently offered by insurance companies in the Czech Republic and to select the most suitable home insurance for a predefined fictional household. To conduct this thorough analysis, it is important to know basic information about this type of insurance. First this thesis presents history of insurance, following it is the analysis of the current state of the given product. Some of the things I closely examine include the division of insurance types based on their claim form, problematics of supplementary insurance or the topic of assisting services. Furthermore, I break down the evolution of home insurance on the Czech market, which is required for the reader to get a coherent view of the whole problematics. In the final part of a work, selected products are analyzed and the most suitable product is chosen based on price and the extent of insurance coverage.Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou pojištění domácnosti. Cílem této práce je zanalyzovat konkrétní produkty v současnosti nabízené pojišťovnami v České republice a vybrat nejvhodnější pojištění domácnosti pro předem definovanou fiktivní domácnost. Pro uskutečnění podrobné analýzy je však potřeba znát základní informace o tomto typu pojištění. Nejprve tedy tato bakalářská práce pojednává o historii pojišťovnictví, v návaznosti na to je pak rozebrána i současná podoba daného produktu. Pozornost je věnována například dělení pojištění dle formy pojistného plnění, problematice připojištění nebo tématice asistenčních služeb. Následně je rozebrán vývoj pojištění domácnosti na českém trhu, bez něhož by nebyl čtenáři nabídnut ucelený pohled na celou problematiku. V závěrečné části práce jsou zanalyzovány vybrané produkty a ve výsledku vybrán jeden nejvhodnější z hlediska ceny a šíře pojistného krytí
