Czech winery development prospects

Present diploma has the aim to analyze Austrian and Czech wine market and on basis of the results decide if it is possible to apply the findings from Austria on the Czech market. At the beginning of the thesis I dedicate myself to the basic characteristics of the wine because of a brief introduction into the problem. As next I focus on a short description of structure and development of the world wine market with placing emphasis on production, consumption and international business. I also briefly describe European winery and the impact of the European Union institutions on winery of member states. In the fundamental parts of the diploma I analyze the development of Czech and Austrian production, self-sufficiency, export and import and shares of particular trading partners and products in international business. Important is also legislation analysis in both countries. On basis of gained results I choose relevant findings from the Austrian wine market and suggest their application I conditions of the Czech market.Diplomová práce má za úkol analyzovat rakouský a český vína a na základě výsledků stanovit, zda je možné poznatky z Rakouska aplikovat na českém trhu. Na začátku práce se z důvodu uvedení do problematiky věnuji základní charakteristice vína. Dále se zabývám stručným popisem struktury a vývoje světového trhu s vínem s důrazem na produkci, spotřebu a mezinárodní obchod. Stručně popíšu také Evropské vinařství a vliv institucí Evropské unie na vinařství členských států. Ve stěžejních kapitolách analyzuji vývoj produkce, soběstačnosti, exportu a importu na území Rakouska a České republiky a podíly jednotlivých obchodních partnerů a produktů na vývozu a dovozu. Podstatný je také rozbor legislativy obou zemí. Na základě získaných poznatků jsem pak vybrala relevantní poznatky z Rakouska a navrhla jejich využití v podmínkách na českém trhu
