The issue of child labour in Africa from the perspective of intergovernmental organizations

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of child labour, that is considered as a serious global problem and its elimination has been set as an SDG goal. The theoretical part provides the theory on human rights, international organizations and their tools to eliminate child labour. The second chapter is devoted to analysis of child labour, its causes, forms, consequences and its specifics in Africa. The third chapter examines the most important legislative documents on the topic of human and children's rights, including regional african ones. Subsequently the activities of ILO and UNICEF and their programmes in Africa are analysed.Bakalářská práce se zabývá dětskou prací, která je považována za vážný globální problém a její odstranění se stalo jedním z podcílů SDG's. Práce nejdříve poskytuje teorii s tematikou lidských práv, mezinárodních organizací a jejich nástrojů k odstranění dětské práce, ve druhé kapitole se práce věnuje přímo dětské práci, jejím příčinám, formám, důsledkům a specifikům v Africe. Ve třetí kapitole jsou analyzovány nejdůležitější legislativní dokumenty orientující se na lidská práva a práva dětí, včetně regionálních afrických, posléze je rozebírána činnost ILO a UNICEF a jejich programy v Africe
