Analysis of the impacts of Rašín's monetary reform on stability and credibility of the Czechoslovakian crown in the first half of 20's

This diploma thesis focuses on the theme of Rašín’s monetary reform in Czechoslovakia in the period 1918–1925. Its main goal is to asses, whether the monetary reform led to the creation of independent, stable and trusted currency. The theoretical part is devoted to the historical context and the economic and monetary situation in 1918 in Czechoslovakia and comparison of monetary reform concepts. Second part analysis the process of monetary reform, focuses on monetary separation, deflation policy, restrictive measures and others. It further analysis the impacts on the creation of own currency, economic and monetary indicators. In the last part thesis provides analysis of the evaluation of monetary reform from historians, politicians, economists and businessman. Based on the analysis, it has been proved that the monetary reform led to the creation of independent, stable and trusted currency that encouraged further economic development.Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem Rašínovy měnové reformy v Československu v období 1918–1925. Jejím hlavním cílem je vyhodnotit, zda měnová reforma vedla k vytvoření samostatné, stabilní a důvěryhodné měny. Teoretická část je věnována historickým souvislostem a hospodářské a měnové situaci při vzniku Československa v roce 1918 a komparaci návrhů měnové reformy. Praktická část analyzuje průběh měnové reformy, se zaměřením na měnovou odluku, deflační politiku, restriktivní opatření a další. Dále analyzuje jejich dopady na vytvoření vlastní měny, hospodářské a měnové ukazatele. V závěru přináší analýzu hodnocení dobových a současných odborníků z oblasti ekonomie, historie, politiky a podnikání. Na základě analýzy bylo dokázáno, že měnová reforma vedla k vytvoření samostatné, stabilní a důvěryhodné měny, která podpořila následný hospodářský rozvoj
