Ecotourism in the protected landscape areas of the Central Bohemia Region

The aim of the diploma thesis is to characterize four selected protected landscape areas located in the Central Bohemian Region according to the set parameters and their subsequent comparison. The partial aim of the thesis is to introduce the readers the theme of ecotourism, nature and landscape conservation and to decide whether the protected landscape areas is suitable for the development of ecotourism. Selected PLAs are the Český kras, the Kokořínsko - Máchův kraj, the Bohemian Paradise and the Brdy. The selected protected landscape areas are analyzed and subsequently compared in terms of general characteristics of the area, fauna and flora, hiking and cycling, accommodation and catering facilities, historical and natural monuments, websites and rankings/ reviews of tourists.Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat čtyři vybrané CHKO nacházející se na území Středočeského kraje dle stanovených parametrů a jejich následné porovnání. Dílčím cílem práce je přiblížit čtenářům téma ekoturistiky, ochrany přírody a krajiny a rozhodnutí, zda jsou zkoumané CHKO vhodné pro rozvoj ekoturismu. Konkrétně se jedná o CHKO Český kras, CHKO Kokořínsko – Máchův kraj, CHKO Český ráj a CHKO Brdy. Zvolené CHKO jsou analyzovány a následně porovnány z hlediska obecné charakteristiky území, fauny a flóry, pěší turistiky a cykloturistiky, ubytovacích a stravovacích zařízení, historických a přírodních památek, webových stránek a hodnocení/recenze turistů
