Modern approaches to motivation of pupils in the teaching of economic subjects

The bachelor thesis on "Modern approaches to motivation of pupils in the teaching of economic subjects" deals with the issue of motivation for learning, namely the motivation of pupils to learn in economic subjects. In the introductory theoretical part are briefly described the terms related to the topic of work, such as teacher personality and compulsory school attendance. In the following work, we focus on the concept of motivation, what types of motivation we know, and also about motivation theories and their representatives. Attention is paid to the current motivation of pupils in economic subjects, how to follow it and what are the possibilities of developing motivation among pupils. The practical part is based on qualitative research in the form of a semi-structured interview. The aim of the research is to get acquainted with the story of the respondents, who brought them to the profession of teacher, why they chose this profession, whether their teachers were a good role model for them, what kind of teaching methods they met or what they are working with and how they motivate their pupils. And whether their work is still fulfilling. Research was conducted in the Czech Republic and Germany for comparison purposes.Bakalářská práce na téma „Moderní přístupy k motivaci žáků ve vyučování ekonomických předmětů“ se zabývá problematikou motivace k učení, konkrétně pak motivací žáků k učení v ekonomických předmětech. V úvodní teoretické části jsou stručně popsány pojmy, které souvisí s tématem práce, jako je osobnost učitele a povinná školní docházka. Dále se práce věnuje pojmu motivace, jaké typy motivace známe a jsou zmíněny teorie motivace od různých autorů. Pozornost je pak ale především věnována aktuální motivaci žáků v ekonomických předmětech, jakým způsobem ji sledovat a jaké jsou možnosti rozvíjení motivace u žáků. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Cílem výzkumu je seznámit se s příběhem respondentů, který je dovedl až do školství k profesi učitele, proč si tuto profesi vybrali, zda jejich učitelé pro ně byli dobrým vzorem, s jakými výukovými metodami se setkali nebo s jakými nyní pracují a jak své žáky motivují. A zda je jejich práce stále naplňuje. Výzkum byl pro srovnání prováděn v České republice a v Německu
