The bachelor thesis on "Modern approaches to motivation of pupils in the teaching of economic subjects" deals with the issue of motivation for learning, namely the motivation of pupils to learn in economic subjects. In the introductory theoretical part are briefly described the terms related to the topic of work, such as teacher personality and compulsory school attendance. In the following work, we focus on the concept of motivation, what types of motivation we know, and also about motivation theories and their representatives. Attention is paid to the current motivation of pupils in economic subjects, how to follow it and what are the possibilities of developing motivation among pupils.
