This thesis deals with electronic commerce. It is divided in to two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part discusses the difference between electronic business and electronic commerce and the specific parts of these sectors, such as e-shops, virtual malls or marketplaces. Then it defines the various entities of electronic business and individual relationships between them. It also deals briefly with the beginnings of e-commerce and the internet.
