This thesis deals with the topic of working motivation of employees. The first part presents the overview of past research. The theoretical part includes a definiton of motivation and represents 3 main theories, which are partly reflected in the results of this work, and it also includes the definition analysis of extrinsic and intrinsic motivational factors with given examples. In the empirical part, two types of testing of selected hypotheses are performed. The first is done by using contingency tables and Spearman‘s rank correlation coefficient and the second is done by regression analysis. The first method proved to be a better solution.
