The bachelor thesis analyzes the effect of the removal of the barriers to the free movement of labour in the European Union on the labour migration from the Czech Republic in 2004–2017 and provides more accurate data of the Czech workers abroad. The theoretical part provides insight into the issues of migration, economic integration, legislative, legal and institutional framework of the free movement of labour.
