Phenomenon of cyberbullying

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cyberbullying in elementary school. The theoretical partbegins with the definition of cyberbullying and characteristics of its participants. Then it follows upwith the problematics of law background of cyberbullying in the Czech Republic and specific toolsand platforms, that are usually used for committing the act of cyberbullying. At the end of theoreticalpart of this thesis, the specifics of cyberbullying are described, followed by advices for appropriatebehaviour on the internet. This part ends with suggested approach to being victim ofcyberbullying.The practical part consists of analysis and evaluation of quantitative research, which was conductedin elementary school. On the basis of this research, the stated hypothesis were verified. The outcomeshows unsatisfying level of student’s knowledge about risks of sexting and confirms the topicalityof cyberbullying phenomenon. The conclusion provides summary of results and containssuggestions for better prevention of cyberbullying.Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou kyberšikany a jejích projevech na základní škole.V úvodu práce je nejprve vymezen pojem kyberšikany, její definice a aktéři. Dále pak je nastíněnaproblematika právního rámce pro kyberšikanu v České republice a konkrétní projevy kyberšikanya nástroje, které jsou při ní obvykle používané. V závěru teoretické části je popsána prevence kyberšikany,vhodné chování na internetu a jak se v případě kyberšikany zachovat.Pro praktickou část byla zvolena metoda dotazníkového šetření na základní škole. Na základěanalýzy a vyhodnocení tohoto kvantitativního výzkumu byly ověřeny stanovené hypotézy. Výsledkempráce je neuspokojivý stav znalostí žáků o problematice sextingu a potvrzení významnostikyberšikany na základních školách. V závěru jsou shrnuta doporučení pro prevenci kyberšikany
