On-line Comparators in Insurance Business

This bachelor thesis focuses on on-line insurance comparators. Theoretical part describes the insurance regarding specific aspects, history, classification of insurance fields and distribution channels. Then it illustrates the way how on-line insurance comparators work, their history and products that can be compared and sold on-line. The Practical section of the thesis consists of 3 parts of research. Its output is a set of graphs that describe, what regular users know about on-line insurance comparators, then the list of active comparators in Czech Republic and Annex 9 obtains information about further possible development of this distribution channel. The Conclusion summarizes some key findings of this work and describes the recommendation how to continue with the research of on-line insurance comparators.Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou on-line srovnávačů v pojišťovnictví. Teoretická část rozebírá pojištění z hlediska specifických prvků, historie, členění na jednotlivá odvětví a jednotlivých distribučních kanálů. Dále se věnuje problematice on-line srovnávačů pojištění z hlediska fungování, historie i jednotlivých produktů, které je přes ně skutečně možno srovnat a sjednat. Následuje praktická část, která vychází z 3 částí výzkumné činnosti. Jejím výstupem je grafické zobrazení informací o povědomí uživatelů srovnávačů, dále přehled aktivních srovnávačů v České republice a Příloha 9 obsahuje informace o možném vývoji tohoto distribučního kanálu. Závěr shrnuje klíčové části práce a popisuje doporučení pro další výzkum z oblasti on-line srovnávačů pojištění
