The media image of the Czech public administration

The content of the thesis is to find out what media image the Czech media poses to the public administration through the quantitative and qualitative content analysis of selected Czech titels for the period from the1 of June 2017 to the 31 of August 2017. The first part of the thesis will discuss theoretical concepts such as content and media research. The selected media titles will be described and the nature of public administration in the Czech Republic will be briefly described. The second part will be devoted to the out put soft he analysis accompanied by the explanation. At the end of the thesis, the media image of the territorial self-government will be evaluated, a description of the possible differences between the media and evaluation of the consequences derived from it will be made.Náplní práce je prostřednictvím kvantitativní i kvalitativní obsahové analýzy vybraných českých titulů za období 1. června 2017 až 31. srpna 2017 zjistit, jaký mediální obraz předkládají česká média veřejné správě. V první části práce budou rozebrány teoretické pojmy, jako například obsah a výzkum médií. Dále budou popsány zvolené mediální tituly a stručně popsána podstata veřejné správy v České republice. Druhá část bude věnována samotným výstupům analýzy doplněné vysvětlením. V závěru práce dojde ke zhodnocení mediálního obrazu územní samosprávy, popisu případných rozdílů mezi médii a z toho vyvozené důsledky
