Cross-border tourism

Bachelor thesis focuses on the problems of cross-border shopping tourism of inhabitants of the Liberec Region in the Czech Republic. The goal of the thesis is to analyse behaviour of the inhabitants of the Liberec Region who travel to neighbouring regions in Germany and Poland with the intention of buying goods. The first chapter contains the description of the regarding area. The second chapter contains the summary of general aspects of cross-border shopping tourism, the summary of concrete measures relating to the membership of the European Union and the short list of possibilities for shopping in border areas of the Liberec Region. The third chapter contains the interpretation of outcomes of the questionnaire survey accomplished among inhabitants of the Liberec Region.Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou přeshraniční nákupní turistiky obyvatel Libereckého kraje. Cílem bylo analyzovat chování obyvatel Libereckého kraje, kteří záměrně cestují za nákupy do přilehlých regionů v Německu a Polsku. První kapitola obsahuje popis dotčeného území. Druhá kapitola obsahuje souhrn obecných aspektů přeshraniční nákupní turistiky, souhrn konkrétních opatření souvisejících s členstvím v Evropské unii a stručný výčet nákupních možností v příhraničí Libereckého kraje. Třetí kapitola obsahuje interpretaci výsledků dotazníkového šetření provedeného mezi obyvateli Libereckého kraje
