The aim of this thesis is to analyse marketing communication of a chosen retail company and to recommend possible improvements of marketing activities. The thesis is divided in theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to marketing – its importance, instruments and specifics in retail. Then development of retail in the Czech Republic and expected future development are introduced. In practical part is initially introduced the company, its history, development, the most significant competition and its marketing mix. Then results of an own questionnaire are presented, of which purpose was to evaluate shopping experience of the company’s customers and to determine their interest in concrete innovations.
