The diploma thesis analyzes the current situation of the important player, called Czech centres, in the area of the prezentation of the Czech Republic abroad. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the models of possible future orientation of this cultural institute with regard to the developments and facts that are currently characteristic for the functioning of the cultural institute. The first part of the thesis is focused on the disciplines that can be used to present the country abroad, i.e. public diplomacy, cultural diplomacy and nation branding.
