Japanese agriculture at the end of 20th and at the beginning of 21st century: development, trends, problems

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje vývoji japonského zemědělství a s ním spojeným problémům. V první části práce je porovnána výkonnost japonského zemědělství s jinými státy. Je poukázáno na vývoj v oblasti produkce jednotlivých zemědělských produktů a vysvětlen současný stav. Dále se kapitola zabývá problémem malé soběstačnosti, stárnoucí populace zemědělců a jejich nízké konkurenceschopnosti. V druhé části práce je analyzován dopad zemětřesení v Tóhoku, které nastalo v roce 2011, a následné havárie jaderné elektrárny Fukušima Daiiči na japonské zemědělství.This Bachelor's Thesis concerns the development of Japanese agriculture and problems connected with it. The first part compares effectiveness of Japanese agriculture with other states. It shows the development in the area of production of individual agricultural products and explains the current state. It also treats the problem of low self-sufficiency, aging population of Japanese farmers and low competitiveness. The second part analyses the impact of Great Tohoku earthquake, which happened in 2011, and following nuclear accident of Fukushima Daiichi power plant on Japanese agriculture
