Trade and investment cooperation between Czech Republic and The Republic of Korea, Case study on Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech Investment in Nošovice

Over the last four decades, Korean Republic has transformed its economy from the world's poorest to the one of the top twenty most powerful economies in the world. It has become a very powerful player in the world trade and also a strong investment partner to many countries. One of these countries is Czech Republic, which has significantly deepened its mutual economic relationships in the last twenty years. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse existing trade and investment cooperation with this strong asian economy and also of an example of the largest Korean investment in Czech Republic, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech s.r.o. in Nošovice to evaluate pros and cons sides of this investment for Moravian - Silesian Region and our economy.V průběhu posledních čtyř dekád se Korejská republika přetransformovala z jedné z nejchudších ekonomik světa mezi top dvacet nejbohatších. V současné době je významným světovým hráčem na poli mezinárodního obchodu, ale také zároveň silným investičním partnerem pro mnoho zemí. Jednou z nich je i Česká republika, které se podařilo v posledních dvaceti letech významně prohloubit vzájemné ekonomické vztahy s Korejskou republikou. Cílem této práce je zhodnotit dosavadní obchodní a investiční spolupráci s touto silnou asijskou ekonomikou a především, na příkladě největší korejské přímé zahraniční investice v ČR, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech s.r.o., zanalyzovat reálné, jak pozitivní, tak i negativní dopady této investice na Moravskoslezský kraj a naše hospodářství
