Nowadays there is a lot of new trends in a tourism sector and gastronomic tourism is one of the most important one. The object of thesis is to define the status of gastronomic tourism on tourist market. This object is achieved by introduction of the relations between tourism and gastronomy and by the classification of gastronomic tours. In this thesis the most visited countries of Europe are described and there is the analysis of the offer and demand on gastronomic tourism in these regions.
