Analysis of economic relations between the Czech Republic and Italy in the period 2005-2011

This thesis deals with the economic relations of the Czech Republic and Italy in the period 2005-2011. The aim of the thesis is to analyse business relations Czech Republic with Italy on the basis of foreign trade and direct investment and identify opportunities for Czech exporters on the Italian market. To meet the goal of the thesis, the economic situation of both countries is characterized in the first chapter. The second chapter deals with mutual foreign trade. The next chapter focuses on the business and political relations mainly export promotion policy of the Czech Republic in relation to Italy. Finally, the last part is dedicated to foreign direct investment issue. Based on the data, it is possible to say that Italy is an important trading partner for Czech Republic.Tato práce pojednává o ekonomických vztazích ČR s Itálií v letech 2005--2011. Cílem práce je analyzovat obchodní vztahy ČR s Itálií na základě zahraničního obchodu a přímých investic a identifikovat příležitosti pro české exportéry na italském trhu. Ke splnění cíle je nejdříve charakterizována ekonomická situace obou zemí. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vzájemným zahraničním obchodem. Kapitola třetí se zaměřuje na obchodně-politické vztahy především proexportní politiku ČR vůči Itálii. Poslední část je věnovaná přímým zahraničním investicím. Na základě zjištěných údajů je možné konstatovat, že Itálie představuje důležitého obchodního partnera ČR
