The Effect of Emotions in the Workplace

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of emotional characteristics of employees in a particular company and their relations to the atmosphere in the company. The main objective of the thesis is to find out whether the emotional characteristics of employees influence the overall atmosphere in their workplaces. The thesis is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the general and theoretical roots linked to the atmosphere in the workplace and appearing emotions influencing social atmosphere. Further, it deals with the quality of group atmosphere and examines the impact of emotions in focus with regard to particular workplace. The second part of thesis elaborates the data of the company. In this practical part each dimension of the group atmosphere of the company and the emotional characteristics of employees are described.Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním emočních charakteristik zaměstnanců v příslušné společnosti a jejich vztahem k atmosféře ve společnosti. Hlavním smyslem této práce je zjistit, zda emoční charakteristiky pracovníků ovlivňují celkovou atmosféru na pracovišti. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část je věnována obecným a teoretickým východiskům, která se týkají atmosféry na pracovišti, emocím, které se na pracovišti vyskytují a ovlivňují sociální atmosféru. Dále se práce věnuje kvalitě skupinové atmosféry, s přihlédnutím k pracovišti a tomu, do jaké míry ji ovlivňují zkoumané emoce. Druhá část se věnuje rozboru dat z vybrané společnosti. V této praktické části jsou popsány jednotlivé dimenze skupinové atmosféry v dané společnosti a emoční charakteristiky jejich zaměstnanců
