The Reconciliation of Work and Personal Live

This thesis focuses on the reconciliation of work and family responsibilities of women. The aim is to find out how women manage to balance work and family, how much time per week they dedicate to housework and family care and how is their partner involved in the responsibilities. Interviews and questionnaires are used for these purposes. The idea of gender roles is reflected not only in the work area, but also in the personal one. The man expects that the woman will take care of household and children. It is appropriate for the partners to have an equal part of the responsibilities that arise from living together and starting a family. It is also necessary to solve who of the partners stays on parental leave. It always depends on the individual case and the mutual agreement of the partners.Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na slaďování pracovních a rodinných povinností žen. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak ženy zvládají sladit práci a rodinu, kolik času týdně jim zaberou domácí práce a péče o rodinu a jak se na povinnostech podílí jejich partner. Pro tyto účely jsou využity rozhovory a dotazníkové šetření. Představa o genderových rolích se projevuje nejen v pracovní sféře, ale i v té osobní. Muž očekává, že se povinnostem v domácnosti a péči o děti bude věnovat žena. Je vhodné, aby se oba partneři o povinnosti, které přináší společné soužití a založení rodiny, dělili rovnoměrně. Je nutné vyřešit i to, kdo z partnerů zůstane na rodičovské dovolené. Vždy záleží na individuálním případě a vzájemné dohodě partnerů
