Mortgage crisis in Spain and impact on the EU

The work deals with the theme "The mortgage crisis in Spain" and its subsequent impact on the European Union. First, the thesis explains the issue of starting the crisis, as well as its inclusion in the historical context, the previous development of the Spanish economy, and a causal connection between the past and the current situation. The work explains some basic concepts related to the real estate bubble, the mortgage market, government intervention in the economy, government reforms in Spain and the financial support of the European Stability Mechanism. Some phenomena are explained through the analysis of statistics and data. The results are compared with the current situation and there are explained the answers to the questions at beginning of the work. The main objective is not only to describe what effect will the mortgage crisis have in the Spanish economy, but also what will be the subsequent development of the crisis and what will be the impact of the crisis on the EU. Will the mortgage crisis extend in such way that the Spanish economy would collapse, or can Spain overcome the crisis?Práce se zabývá tématem "Hypoteční krize ve Španělsku" a jejím následným vlivem na Evropskou Unii. Práce nejprve osvětluje problematiku začínající krize, dále její historické zařazení do kontextu, předchozí vývoj španělské ekonomiky a zároveň příčinné souvislosti mezi minulostí a současným stavem. Práce podává vysvětlení některých základních pojmů týkajících se realitní bubliny, hypotečního trhu, vládních zásahů do ekonomiky, státních reforem Španělska a finanční podpory Evropského stabilizačního mechanismu. Prostřednictvím analýzy statistických údajů a vyhledaných dat jsou v práci objasněny některé jevy. Výsledky jsou porovnávány se současným stavem a zaznívají zde odpovědi na otázky z úvodu práce. Hlavním cílem práce je nejen popsat, jaký vliv bude mít hypoteční krize na španělskou ekonomiku, ale také, jaký bude následný vývoj krize a jaký bude mít krize vliv na EU. Rozšíří se hypoteční krize takovým způsobem, že španělská ekonomika zkrachuje, nebo Španělsko dokáže krizi překonat
