Business customs and cultural specifics of the Philippines

This bachelor thesis provides information about the Philippines. There is mentioned general characteristic, as well as general characteristics of the cultural practices and their reflection in a business meeting. The thesis collects information for successful business partner and it also contains Czech-Philippine trade and diplomatic relations. The thesis is based on the foreign-language literature. The information was gained from communication with representatives of the Embassy of the Philippines and representatives of the Czech private sector. Information about culture, among other things came from personal experience.Tato bakalářská práce poskytuje informace o Filipínské republice. Je zde zmíněná obecná charakteristika země, dále pak obecná charakteristika kulturních zvyklostí a jejich promítnutí do obchodního jednání. Práce dále shromažďuje informace pro úspěšné jednání s filipínským protějškem a také představení česko-filipínských obchodních a diplomatických vztahů. Mezi podklady této bakalářské práce patří především cizojazyčná literatura. Dále informace, které vyplynuly z komunikace se zastupiteli filipínského velvyslanectví a představiteli soukromého českého sektoru. Informace o kultuře pocházejí mimo jiné z osobních zkušeností
