Political parties' functionning on municipal level: the case study of Milevsko

The main goal of the submitted thesis was to analyze seven political parties that were running for the municipal election in Milevsko in 2010. I focused on description of the candidate list structure and electioneering. The thesis also reveals the way of cooperation inside political parties and their representatives as well as parties' campaign funding. The first chapter defines the theory and characterize the municipal elections in general. Second chapter - Milevsko includes the main figures and data about Milevsko and election 2010 result. Third chapter is dedicated to the individual political parties and the last chapter describes the post-election bargaining and coalition forming.Cílem práce je analyzovat fungování sedmi milevských politických stran, které kandidovaly ve volbách do zastupitelstva obce v roce 2010. Popsat jakým způsobem strany tvořily kandidátní listiny, volební programy a organizovaly předvolební kampaň. Práce by měla zároveň přispět k poznání toho, jak strany spolupracují se zmocněncem strany a jakým způsobem financují předvolební kampaň.Práce je strukturována do čtyř kapitol. První část se věnuje teoretickému vymezení pojmů a charakteristice komunálních voleb.V kapitole Milevsko a komunální volby jsou pak uvedeny základní údaje o Milevsku a výsledky voleb do zastupitelstva obce v roce 2010. Samostatná kapitola je věnována stranám kandidujícím ve volbách 2010.Poslední kapitola se zabývá povolebním vyjednáváním a sestavení koalice
